I have on many occasions been frustrated by our lack of progress under my leadership as an elementary principal. Perhaps the Kolbe model would be helpful for me. Thanks. PS--It was good to connect with you again. It's been awhile since the Kal-Tech days.GLJayhawkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11118346790063151918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2915780921046038273.post-46082027917389197582010-07-19T20:16:35.309-07:002010-07-19T20:16:35.309-07:00Thank you so much for such a great post! I am just...Thank you so much for such a great post! I am just now entering the presentation world and find myself to be a "Quick Start" On my 6 hour drive home, I was able to really go back and look at my own presentation. I think I have something exciting to share, but I have discovered that I need to break it down even more. I have since sat down and looked at what I really enjoy, how I use technology with my specific students (children with disabilities) and how I can make a more cohesive presentation. Thanks again for a great post!Busy Bee Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14228195052318259187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2915780921046038273.post-53549497277623648862010-07-19T18:11:30.198-07:002010-07-19T18:11:30.198-07:00It has taken me a few years of presenting and faci...It has taken me a few years of presenting and facilitating professional development in my district to get to know my fellow teachers learning styles. She had spent 9+ years learning how to "play the game" and all of a sudden the rules of the game were changed. That would frustrate almost anyone, especially if there had been no warning that the rules were about to change. There are many veteran teachers feeling the same frustration about teaching. The unrealistic goals of No Child Left Behind and the heavy handed enforcement of that disasterous bit of legislation has left many good teachers and administrators rethinking their choice of careers.Ron Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02322238842045074832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2915780921046038273.post-63523623328121540622010-01-14T23:57:47.079-08:002010-01-14T23:57:47.079-08:00Coming back during the day to watch this video and...Coming back during the day to watch this video and read your comments.
